Yobe Journalists hail member’s appointment by Govt

The correspondents chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists in Yobe state have congratulated one of their own Mamman Mohamed on his appointment as the new Director General media to Governor Maimala Buni.
A letter signed by the Chairman of the Correspondents Chapel Mohamed Abubakar of the daily independent newspaper noted that ” I wish to congratulate you on behalf of myself and the entire members of the Correspondents’ Chapel on your new appointment as Director General Press Affairs to the Governor of Yobe State Hon. Maimala Buni.
“We take this opportunity to look forward to working closely with you and strengthening cooperation between the entire working Journalists in Yobe State and beyond. Congratulations once again on your appointment and wishing you every success in your new duties.”
Meanwhile Mamman Mohamed also a former Chairman of the Yobe state Chapel of the Correspondent chapel of the Nigerian Union of journalists NUJ have since taken over duties from Abdulahi Bego who is now the Commissioner of information in Yobe state.
Mamman Mohamed has almost three decades of practice on the field as a correspondent of the news Agency of Nigeria which has taken him all over the entire Northern Nigeria.
Before this new appointment he was the correspondent of the News agency of Nigeria in Yobe state.
The new spokesman for the Governor is happily married with children.
