Rep Maren meets, confirms abducted aid worker in “good spirit”

Nigerian House of Reps member, Solomon Maren says the Plateau born aid worker, Jennifer Ukambong Samuel abducted by Boko Haram and freed last Wednesday is “in good spirits”.

Maren who visited the 26years-old on Friday in Abuja where she is currently undergoing medical examination was excited about her rescue.

“I met with her this evening. She is in good spirit, we thank God for her rescue,” he said.

Meanwhile, Miss Ukambong is expected back in Jos this weekend where she will reunite with family and friends.

State Officials, friends and fellow nurses of the Alliance for International Medical Action staff are thought to be planning a special reception.
