Presidency Officially awards 27yr old Plateau native for Technology Innovation

The Federal Government’s “ease of doing business” committee chaired by the Vice President, Yemi Osibanjo has awarded Mr. Luka Zang Bot, a 27year old inventor from Plateau State for the best Technological Innovation of the Year.

Mr. Bot developed a Power Bank, Computer Foot Mouse and Sand Sieving Machine to earn the recognition.

He is currently perfecting an Automatic Candle control device.

He was nominated in the technology innovation category alongside two others from Plateau State – Mr. Bare Choji and Mr. Mafeng Yohanna.

Mr. Choji invented the world’s acclaimed first power generating engine that runs on water.

Mr. Yohanna on the other hand was picked for his creativity in furniture and woodcraft.

Zang won the Technology Innovation award for his Computer Foot Mouse.

Gov. Simon Lalong of Plateau State and the Senator representing Plateau North in the National Assembly, Istifanus Gyang who were both at the event have expressed delight for the feat attained by the trio.

In separate remarks, the Officials particularly lauded the innovativeness of Mr. Bot who returned with a N1m prize.
