Plateau Senator, ID Gyang turns office “People’s Parliament”

The Deputy Chairman, Senate Committee on Defence and Senator Representing Plateau Northern Senatorial District Barrister (Dr) Istifanus Gyang says his Constituency office is now named the “Peoples Parliament.”

There, all citizens from the six LGAs of the Plateau North Senatorial District are free to submit issues regarding their wellbeing, Gyang said, Wednesday.

The Senator while addressing his Aide’s at the “Peoples Parliament” office at No. 1 Ibrahim Alfa Road Giring Abattoir (Fototek building) Jos. pledged to diligently serve all the people in the Senatorial zone regardless of ethnic, religious or political differences.

He emphasized that the focus of his mandate is to “Secure the people, Reconcile the people and Empower the people;

“Securing the people through peace and harmonious coexistence and not through armaments and violence.

“Reconcile the people through forgiveness and restitution to restore trust and confidence.

“Empower the people through education, skills acquisition, trade and commerce.”
