Plateau: Pankshin Legislature approves N3.9bn budget for 2019

The Pankshin Local Government Legislative Arm has passed the 2019 appropriation bill of over N3,974,000,000.00 into law.

This follows a report presented to the House, Wednesday by the House Standing Committee on Appropriation.

A budget of N3,854, 656,414.22 was initially presented to the House by the Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon. John Damap.

After scrutiny however, the House approved the bill with a difference of N119,000,700.00.

Of the amount, Capital expenditure stands at B1,082,028,134 .95 while Recurrent Expenditure is N2,892, 136, 279.27.
