Jos, Nigeria: Police in Central Nigeria are investigating the alleged murder of a 2year-old girl, Ummi Abdulrahanan who was declared missing on Wednesday, January 15, 2020.
News of her disappearance surfaced on social media on Friday, January 17, 2020 after family searched but could not find her in their Kondi village in Jannaret District of Mangu Local Government Area, Plateau State.
Her dead body was however found on Wednesday January 22, 2019 “in a bush,” without eyes, a relation, Abdullahi Habibu wrote on his Facebook timeline.
“In regard to the earlier posting on this missing innocent girl. VERY SAD!The dead body has been found dumped in the bush this evening. Her two eyes were removed (innalillahi wa’inna ilaihim rajuun),” Habibu wrote.
Habibu, a teacher and one-time Councillorship Candidate told MK on the phone that the case was reported to Police but the family had commenced prayer and fasting for her killers to be exposed.
The deceased was yesterday buried according to Islamic rites.
