Jos, Nigeria: Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen on Tuesday abducted the daughter of a former Tourism Commissioner in Plateau State, Mr. Peter Mwadkon.

Miss Christie Peter was kidnapped at about 2am in her sister’s house, in Kwata community of Jos South Local Government Area, Plateau State.

The gunmen reportedly broke into the house, picked a boy but returned him for the 26years-old graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.

Family sources say the kidnappers were heard arguing among themselves after kidnapping the under-10 boy, that they were sent to take a lady not a boy.

The kidnap occurred 6hours after a 27years old man, Mr. Gabriel Bulus was reportedly killed in Torok hamlet of Rim community, Riyom LGA, 15kms southwest of Jos, the capital of Plateau State.

Bulus was killed at about 8pm on Monday in an ambush by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

No arrest has been made for either of the crimes.
