Plateau: First Pilgani Councilor, honored at 90

The first Councilor Ward in Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau State, Hon. Baba Nangil Nden has been crowned as the Talban Gani, a high traditional title in the Gani District.
Nden was handed the title at his 90th birthday celebration in Pilgani, last Saturday.
The ceremony organized by his children attracted guests from all works of life, including ex military official, Air Marshall Wuyep, Ex House of Assembly Speaker, Mike Dapierlong, and Chairmen of Langtang North and South LGAs.
Others are past Chairmen, members of the Gani traditional Council, the Emir of Kanam, HRH Mohammed Babangida, and among others, highly reputed academics.
Those who spoke lauded the contributions of the elder statesman to the development of Plateau State.
