Niger imposes statewide curfew over Coronavirus

The Niger State government has impost an 8am to 8pm curfew to prevent the spread of the deadly Coronavirus disease.

The curfew, the State Governor, Sani Bello said is indefinite, effective from Wednesday, March 25th, 2020.

Bello in a state broadcast said the State has reactivated its Isolation Centre in General Hospital, Minna and isolation rooms in all General Hospitals across the State to treat any case of the disease.

The State according to the Governor has strengthened its surveillance systems to detect any case of the disease.
