Niger: Federal Polytechnic Bida spends N187m on Admin Block Extension

Niger State’s Federal Polytechnic Bida says it spent N187million to build an extension for its administrative block.

Sourced from the Nigerian Tertiary Education Trust Fund, the two storey building, Rector of the institution, Dr. Abubakar Abdul Dzukogi said comprises 75 offices and conference hall.

The project aims to provide conducive working environment for staff, Dzukogi told a staffs meeting, Friday.

According to him, the college previously had four schools and 22 departments until his appointment as its 11th Rector, but has been expanded to eight schools, 32 departments, with increased discipline among staff and students.

Mr. Ahmed Shehu who spoke for the staff pledged continued support for the Rector and his management team members.
