fuel tanker crashes in Nigerian city

From Mathew Jwantu, Minna
A fully loaded fuel tanker, Wednesday crashed in Central Nigeria’s Minna city, causing public fear.
The truck carrying premium motor spirit, otherwise known as petrol crashed at about 8pm, local time, along Niger State College of Education, Minna road, spilling the product across meters.
Eyewitnesses say the truck made a bad turn obviously to dodge a pothole when it crashed.
The crash caused heavy logjam which took several hours to clear.
The road is the only link between the State capital and other cities in the State.
Many of the motorists trapped in the jam appealed for an alternative road to prevent such inconveniences in the future.
