The Rector, Niger State Polytechnic, Dr. Ahmed Egbako has challenged students to shun cultism, examination malpractices, rape and other related vices.
These acts are capable of truncating studies, Egbako said at the Matriculation of 71 newly admitted students for the 2018/2919 academic session of the Polytechnic.
The Rector also called on staff and students to uphold the institution’s image as one of the fastest growing Polytechnics in Nigeria.

The Polytechnic under Mr. Egbako produced 16 Doctorate degree holders, with 25 PhDs in-view, it was learnt.
Presently, about 105 academic staff of the institution are studying for Master degrees within and outside Nigeria.
The Polytechnic had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federal University of Technology Minna, to run Bachelor of Engineering in Computer science, Electrical/Electronics and Bachelor of Technology in Urban Planning, statistics and Estate management.
