Jos electricity company temporarily shuts supply for maintenance

The Jos Electricity Distribution PLC says it will be installing new rector isolator fingers to BUS-BAR on Saturday.

The installation between 9am and 5pm will cause power shutdown in Jos and Bukuru metropolis until completed, Mr. Friday Elijah,
Head, Corporate Communications said, Friday in a press statement.

All inconveniences caused by the shutdown are regretted, the statement says.
