Nigerian Governors Forum says all those held captive by Boko Haram will be rescued soon.
Five hostages captured on December 22, 2019 in northeast Borno State were rescued on Wednesday.
The hostages include a Plateau-born Aid worker, Jennifer Ukambong Samuel whose abduction coincided with her father’s 21st death anniversary.
The Chairman of the Governors’ forum, Simon Lalong on Thursday said, “efforts to rescue other citizens still in captivity are ongoing.”
Lalong who is the Governor of Plateau State asked citizens to support Government and security agencies with useful information that will assist in the captives’ ‘quick’ release.
