A former Nigerian Police Commissioner and serving Senator, Hezekiah Dimka says he is networking professionals to seek justice for Mr. Rinji Peter Bala, a 20year-old undergraduate murdered by a Special Task Force Operative in Jos.

“We’ve already gotten in contact with some lawyers who are willing to take up the case,” said Dimka, Tuesday when he visited the family house of the deceased in the Plateau State capital.

Rinji’s murder, said the Senator, is “very painful and unacceptable”.

“When I lost my son in an accident, the experience was traumatic and devastating. I truly understand how you (Rinji’s father) feel right now,” Dimka said.

Mr. Peter Bala, father of slain Rinji told the Senator that he had forgiven the murder, “but justice must be served to forestall future occurrence.”

He appealed to the Senator to followup the case till it is concluded.
