The Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong says he will use his experience to unite citizens and fight insecurity in northern Nigeria.
The newly elected Chairman of the Northern Governors forum, during a visit to the Commandant Nigeria Civil Defence Corps headquarters in Abuja commended the federal government for timely deploying troops to troubled areas in the country.

He equally commended the NSCDC and other security agencies for maintening peace in the country while pledging support to enable them do more.

The Commandant General of the Nigeria and civil Defence Corps, Abdulahi Muhammadu was full of praise for the Plateau State Government for purchasing office accommodation for the Corp in Plateau state worth four hundred million naira.
