Ex Plateau LG Commissioner finances treatment for cancer patient

Miss Suwaiba Habu of Babale village in Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State, a bedridden cancer patient for seven years might be heading for a turnaround.

This is as the immediate past Commissioner Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and National Vice President of PTD/NUPENG, Alhaji Dayyabu Yusuf Garga got wind of her condition via a Facebook post and immediately mobilized to pave the way for her treatment.

According to the post, Suwaiba has been battling with cancer which has affected one of her legs and put her in pains for years.

Through the DAYYABU GARGA FOUNDATION, the philanthropist immediately assembled a team which visited Babale to ascertain the actual location as well as condition of the patient for necessary support.

According to father of the cancer patient, Baba Habu,Suwaiba has been in that precarious condition for well over 7yrs and has virtually affected her life as she has been bed ridden and which monies for her treatment has been a serious challenge to the family.

Donating the sum of 100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira only) Garga called on the family to immediately seek medical attention so as to reduce the pains she is going through and called on other good spirited persons to lend support in whatever way so that the girl can have some reasonable life back.

Accepting the cash donation in the presence of the mother, father of Suwaiba, Baba Habu in tears thanked Dayyabu Garga for the intervention through the foundation saying they never knew someone somewhere would hear their cry and offer such a support even without knowing the family.

They all prayed God to bless the donor and grant him his heart desires assuring that the money will be used for what it is meant for.

At the time of the visit,the cancer patient, Zuwaira had been confined to her little bedroom where she does all she had to from there.

The Dayyabu Garga Foundation is a non profit and non political Organization that is committed towards deliberate interventions in critical areas of need. It has so far intervened in areas such as education, health,entrepreneurship, sports,among others with support of its President and founder, Alhaji Dayyabu Garga.
