Emir of Zazzau has promoted justice, peace in 45yrs – NGF

The Northern States Governor’s Forum says the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Shehu Idris has promoted justice, peace and tolerance in his 45-year reign.
The Paramount Chief’s “selfless” leadership has brought stability to the Zauzau Emirate, Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole, the NGF Chairman, Simon Lalong said on Saturday.
Lalong in a press statement through his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Dr. Makut Simon Macham said “In more than four decades of leadership, Alhaji Idris has displayed passion, compassion, courage and selflessness in ruling his people by paying close attention to their needs and responding appropriately.
“He has pursued justice, peaceful coexistence, tolerance and nation building in a manner that has made Zaria a home for all”.
The NGF boss appreciated the royal father’s support and “wise counsel” to the country and in particular, the Northern Governors Forum especially during difficult moments.
