Two villagers ambushed near Jos, the capital of Plateau State are currently battling for their lives, MK can confirm.
Mr. Victor Markus, 20, and Mr. Gyang Gwom, 30, were attacked by AK47 bearing men along Foron – Vat road in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State at about 6:30pm on Sunday, it was learnt.
Victor was shot multiple times in his legs, causing excessive bleeding.
Rescuers picked him half dead, in the pool of his blood after he managed to make an emergency call before passing out.
The attackers, believed to be herders had pulled and taken his trousers, leaving him for dead, it was gathered.

“They chased after me with rapid gunfire after hitting Victor, but I escaped,” said Gyang, the driver of the motorbike they were traveling on.
Gyang was also hit in the thigh but less severely.
Local Government Officials along with a local non-governmental organization have facilitated the treatment of the victims but multiple surgeries might be needed to fix their broken bones.
The attack comes less than six weeks after the murder of the District Head of Foron, a trend that might heighten if unchecked.
