While Nigeria and other countries battle the dreaded Coronavirus disease, armed killers still attack “helpless communities” in Plateau North Senatorial District, Senator Istifanus Gyang says.
Two days running (Tuesday & Wednesday 31 March and 1 April), Senator Gyang, in a press statement said through his Media aide, Musa Ashoms said, “killer bandits attacked and killed 10 persons at Hukke and Kyle Borough villages of Irigwe Chiefdom, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.”
The killers, Gyang said are showing no fear of God or value for human life. Hence, securities should “rise up to their primary responsibility of securing the lives of citizens both in the cities and rural areas.”
The Senator representing Plateau North in the National Assembly and Senate Deputy Committee Chairman on Defense also appealed to citizens in Plateau North to “condemn and reject this latest attempt by Killer bandits to disrupt the peace that we have collectively resolved to build and strengthen.”
