The Plateau State University, Bokkos has commenced the parameter fencing of its hostels following last week’s murder of a student by armed invaders.
Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University, Nengak Gumos told government officials, Friday that Solar powered street lights have also been installed to boost security in the institution.
Receiving the Parliamentarian representation Bokkos constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Mr. Amarudu Useni during a condolence visit to the University, the institution’s boss said attention is also being given to the quality of learning in the university.
The visiting lawmaker who expressed pain at the murder of the students last week Monday pledged to take the security of the university to the State legislature for deliberation.
He also vowed to pursue the arrest and prosecution of the criminals involved in the campus attack.
