A member of the Borno State House of Assembly, Hon. Wakil Bukar Lawan has died from Coronavirus-related complications.
Lawan, representing Nganzai constituency died Monday afternoon at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, HumAngle reports.
It is not yet known if the lawmaker had any underlying illnesses to have fallen to COVID-19 being below age 70.
