Beating coronavirus more crucial than birthday celebration – Gov. Lalong

Nigeria’s Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, Tuesday asked for prayers and public cooperation to beat Covid-19 as his 57th birthday present.

“I will be happier to see that we work together to defeat Coronavirus by breaking community transmission and adopting measures that make us all safer,” said Lalong in a press statement issued by his Press Director, Simon Macham.

The Governor vowed to consolidate peace and infrastructural development as well as reposition the State’s economy for “prosperity and diversification”.
