As Nigeria marks its 59th independence day, front line politician, philanthropist and administrator, Mr. Umar Nasko has called on youths across the country to courageously take part in the political affairs of the nation.
“We as citizens have dreams and aspirations. Wee also wish for a beautiful and egalitarian society. These dreams can only come to fruition if we jump into the arena and get ourselves involved,” Nasko said in a press statement issued by his Media officer, Usman Baba Yahaya, Tuesday.
“We must sacrifice our comfort and be patriotic, as only then can our society be good,” Nasko added.
He however saluted the courage of Nigeria’s fallen heroes who fought for the country’s independence.
