Central Nigeria: The Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) headquartered in Jos, Plateau State might have fulfilled all requirements for the licensing of its proposed Karl Kumm University.

The Church hosted officials from the National Universities Commission (NUC) and Tertiary Education Trust Fund on February 8, 2020 on verification exercise.

Two weeks later, the Church began shopping for a Vice Chancellor, Deputy Vice Chancellor and a Prochancellor for the immediate takeoff of the 20year-old University.
